i think that if they drop the price and release great games, people will consider buying the console, regardless of it being weaker. I guess for that to happen they will have to drop Kinect being mandatory.
But Imagine an XOB with Kinect at $400 and games like Titanfall, Halo 5, Quantum Break to name a few. I pretty sure it will sell well.
This is not necessarily that PS4 CPU is faster, it could be a lot of factors like:
This could mean that PS4 is able to use all 8 cores for games & they are clocked at 1.6GHz with less than a core reserved for the OS as opposed to Xbone which reserves 2 cores for OS
• or it could just be that PS4 APU is designed to get more out of it's CPU than what the Xbox One can.
•or 10% is allocated to the Kinect and the remaining 4+% is possibly ...
